(KSL News) The 2008 Utah Arts Festival kicked off today at Library Square. This year's theme is "Take Part in Art."

The festival runs today through Sunday and sprawls over the two-block area of Library Square and Washington Square in downtown Salt Lake City. The gates open at noon, and the entertainment and browsing continue through 11 p.m.

Children 12 and under get in free, and the price for adults is $10. Seniors citizens, defined by the festival as anyone 65 or older, get in for $5.
