18-year-old dies days after Ogden drive-by shooting

OGDEN — An 18-year-old who was shot while riding his bike in Ogden last week died of his injuries Sunday, police said.

Corbin Samuel McGuire, of Roy, was transported to the hospital in critical condition Aug. 20 after being shot multiple times near 2300 Van Buren Avenue, according to the Ogden City Police Department. He died in the hospital of complications related to the shooting.

The incident is still under investigation, but police believe the shooting may have been gang-related. Anyone with information about the incident can contact the Ogden Police Department by calling 801-629-8221.
