CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 2 cents to $4.9220 a bushel; December corn was .25 cent higher at $3.7340 a bushel; December oats were 4.25 cents higher at 2.20 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 10 cents to 8.75 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was 2.23 cents higher at $1.4260 a pound; October feeder cattle was 2.53 cents higher at $1.9688 a pound; October lean hogs lost .10 cent to $.6690 a pound.
