NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — Police are looking for suspects in a shooting that left a Nampa man in the hospital.

KTVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1MH35xG ) that the Saturday evening shooting wounded 26-year-old Kyle Jackson. Police say the man was antagonizing drivers by yelling and waving a red rag.

Nampa police spokesman Joe Ramirez says police warned Jackson about his behavior around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. But police say he got in an altercation with at least two men in a black SUV a couple hours after the warning.

Ramirez says investigators believe one of those men fired the handgun.

Police believe the shooter may also be injured because Jackson was holding a knife when they arrived. They are checking local hospitals for anyone who showed up with a knife wound.
