NEW YORK (AP) — The temperature was around 80 degrees but that didn't stop Santa from showing up in midtown Manhattan.
Father Christmas, along with Rockettes costumed as rag dolls or toy soldiers danced in front of Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, performing "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" and the "Rag Doll" scene from the "The Radio City Christmas Spectacular."
The brief promotional event happens every year in August — snarling traffic and amusing tourists — to remind patrons that the show will begin Nov. 13 and that tickets are currently on sale.
For the record, there are 134 days until Christmas.
