NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Country singer Jake Owen and his model wife, Lacey Buchanan, are divorcing.
Owen posted a statement on his Twitter account on Friday saying the couple decided to end their marriage after three years. The statement added that they want to focus on their daughter, Pearl, and asked for privacy.
"This is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life," he also tweeted.
The "Beachin'" singer is expected to release a new album on Sony Music Nashville's RCA Records Label soon and has a new single, "Real Life," out. He's also hosting the Academy of Country Music Honors show in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sept. 1.
