LIMA, Peru (AP) — Some East Texas college students and two faculty members are among at least 15 foreign tourists hurt after their bus crashed in Peru. The group was from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches (na-kuh-DOH'-chihs), about 130 miles northeast of Houston. A school spokeswoman says nobody from SFA has life-threatening injuries but several people had broken ribs.
TEQUESTA, Fla. (AP) — The Coast Guard says a boat belonging to two missing 14-year-old fishermen has been found off Florida's Atlantic coast but neither boy was in or around the boat. The boat was located today about 67 miles off Ponce de Leon Inlet in Volusia County. Perry Cohen and Austin Stephanos were last seen Friday in the Jupiter area buying fuel for their 19-foot boat.
ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkey is calling for a meeting of its NATO allies to discuss threats to its security and its airstrikes targeting Islamic State militants in Syria and Kurdish rebels in Iraq. The request was made Sunday. NATO says its decision-making body, the North Atlantic Council, will convene Tuesday.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia says he's leaning toward supporting the Iranian nuclear deal, because the alternative would be war. Manchin tells CBS' "Face the Nation" he's spoken to leaders in four of the five countries that negotiated the Iran nuclear deal, and if Congress rejects it, the U.S. will be on its own and faced with going to war against Iran.
NEWPORT, R.I. (AP) — Gillian Welch, Dawes, Robyn Hitchcock and others have closed out the Newport Folk Festival with a celebration of Bob Dylan and the moment he went electric there 50 years ago. The lineup was secret until the musicians took the stage today. Al Kooper, who performed on July 25, 1965, with Dylan, was among those who played. Organizers say Dylan had been invited.
