Randall Jeppesen reportingAn Orem neighborhood is cleaning up today after a freak windstorm last night.
John Durrant says he heard what sounded like a freight train. He says, "This huge tree right here was actually hitting the house."

Fearing the trees were going to come through the roof he went to the back of the house and saw a tree in his back yard had already tumbled over "I've got a weather station, a Davis weather station on the roof. I looked at it and it said 101."
Up the street Garth Openshaw had a big pine tree go down in his yard. It landed on the top of one of his cars.

Only a few blocks around 600 North and 1000 West were affected, but the strong winds left tree branches and roof shingles all around the neighborhood.
