(KSL News) Police are looking for a man involved in a theft at a Salt Lake restaurant.
Police say the man went into the Panda Buffet near 1000 West and North Temple last night and ordered a soft drink. But after he got it, he stuck around.
Lt. Isaac Atencio of the Salt Lake City Police Department said, "He didn't make any threats, didn't display or threaten any weapon. What he did was actually just wait until she turned her back and then took the cash register and ran out of the business."
Police say another man was waiting in a getaway car in the parking lot. They took off in a two-toned platinum-colored SUV.
