MURRAY — In three games prior to the Western Conference championship, the Utah Falconz outscored their opponents 182-0.
It was more of the same Saturday.
The Falconz continued their four-game shutout streak, routing the Madison Blaze 73-0 at Cottonwood High School to advance to the championship game of the Independent Women's Football League in South Carolina.
Kris Thomasberg made a spectacular touchdown dash to give the Falconz (9-0) a 22-0 lead in the first quarter (which you can see in the video above), and Utah blew past the Wisconsin team to advance to the title game July 25.
The Falconz defense has not allowed a touchdown since 67-6 win over Colorado on June 6. The team has only given up 26 points on the season.
The Falconz will play the Pittsburgh Passion in the late July championship in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
