(KSL News) Officials have recovered the body of a man who drowned at Pineview Reservior.

Caesar Hernandez, 20, of Layton, was celebrating Father's Day with his family yesterday afternoon.

Family members say he swam after a ball in the water near Cemetery Point Marina and was overcome by a jet ski wave. He never re-surfaced.

Officials say he wasn't prepared to go into the water.

Sgt. Dave Creager of the Weber County Sheriff's Office said, "He went out into the water in long pants. The water's still fairly cold. He'd been eating prior to going out."

Dive teams, boats and search helicopters were called out and eventually found his body.
