SALT LAKE CITY — About an hour after a network connectivity issue grounded all United Airlines flights, the issue was resolved and the ground stop canceled.
Travelers departing throughout the country were grounded Wednesday morning at all facilities, including subcarriers of United Airlines. Those subcarriers were released from the ground stop about 20 minutes after the grounding, according to the FAA. By 8 a.m. MDT, the computer glitch was fixed and the ground stop lifted. Brief delays were expected at the Salt Lake City International Airport.
