(KSL News) A Provo woman accused of sexually abusing a young boy is competent to stand trial.
Amber Childs is charged with aggravated sex abuse of a child, sodomy on a child and tampering with a witness or juror.
The alleged abuse involved a five-year-old boy, back in 2002.
The case has seen four years of delays because Childs underwent several competency reviews, suffered serious health problems and changed attorneys. She will go to trial in October.
