(KSL News) A 15-year-old boy is in the hospital with neck pains. His parents are under question by police.
The Division of Child and Family Services are investigating the Salt Lake City couple this morning, after the boy was rushed to the hospital.
It started with a very dramatic 911 call.
Lt. C.T. Smith/Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "The initial information we had was that the child had been choked and was unconcious."
Officers quickly discovered the teen never lost consciousness, but he was complaining of neck pain.
Police say the teen was eating dinner with a woman in another apartment. His parents tried to get him to come home, but he refused. When he finally returned home, the teen and his parents started fighting and things became physical.
Police aren't sure what happened next, but to be safe, they're finding someplace for the teen to stay after he's released from the hospital, until the investigation is complete.
