PARK CITY — A family of five sustained minor injuries after rolling an SUV pulling a trailer on I-80 Sunday.
The driver lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason around 3:58 p.m. and the vehicle and the trailer rolled, Utah Highway Patrol said. The family was taken by ambulance to Park City Medical Center after suffering minor injuries.
The incident occurred near mile marker 176 and both westbound lanes of I-80 were blocked.
The family was identified as Trent and Deanna Jacobson of Saratoga Springs, 46 and 45, respectively. Their three children were passengers in the vehicle ages 15, 13, and 9.
All occupants of the SUV were properly wearing their seatbelts, which prevented them from being ejected from the vehicle and sustaining more serious injuries.
