(KSL News) A man robbed a West Valley convenience store this morning, pretending to be armed.
It happened at a 7-Eleven near 3500 South and Redwood Road just before 3 a.m.
Police say the man walked up to the cash register and motioned to the clerk that he had a gun. The clerk stepped back while he cleaned out the cash drawer and took off on foot.
Police say a gun was never shown and he was likely pretending to be armed.
