Andrew Adams and KSL TV News reportingA Herriman boy was seriously hurt after falling out of a second-story window. He was playing with some friends Thursday night when the accident happened.
Several neighborhood children were playing in a room above the garage in the home. The children, including a 6-year-old boy, were jumping from a window sill onto an air mattress on the floor of the room. The boy apparently fell backward through the screen.
Lt. Jason Johnson, with the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office, said it was, "About a 16-foot drop down onto the driveway. [The boy] sustained very serious injuries."
A helicopter flew the boy to Primary Children's Medical Center. He's believed still to be in critical condition.
