ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell says defensive lineman Jason Jones has been dealing with an injury, but he didn't elaborate on what type.

Jones has missed practice at minicamp this week. Caldwell says Thursday that Jones had "a little bit of an injury that he got taken care of" and he should be back in the fall.

Jones started all 16 games for the Lions last season and had five sacks, a productive return after he was limited to three games in 2013 by a knee injury.
