LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sunday will be Perez Hilton's first Father's Day with his baby girl, but he won't be going out to celebrate.

Hilton says he's "pro-vaccination" and won't take 5-week-old daughter Mia out in public much until she gets her two-month shots. He calls himself "a very cautious parent."

The 37-year-old celebrity blogger (real name: Mario Lavanderia) started his family in 2013 when son Mario was born via surrogate, as was Mia. Hilton says he decided to become a dad on his own because he "didn't want to worry about a relationship of mine interfering with the happiness and well-being of my children."

Though he says he's open to dating, Hilton remains single and is raising his children with the help of his mom and a nanny.

"Every day is Father's Day for me," he said.
