LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Utah State University will offer a new doctoral program in engineering education this fall.
The degree is intended to prepare engineers to teach in small colleges and find ways to improve engineering classes.
The Utah State Board of Regents is expected to approve the degree offering in July.
If approved, the program will be housed in Utah State's Department of Engineering and Technology Education.
Currently only Purdue University and Virginia Tech have similar programs.
