(KSL News) Yesterday the Deseret News announced unprecedented layoffs: Up to 35 staffers will be let go this summer.
Editor Joe Cannon said the paper has seen a 32-percent decline in revenue since January. It comes not so much from any decrease in circulation, but mostly due to the evaporation of classified ads. They have gone to the Web.
