LAS VEGAS (AP) — Blues legend B.B. King is getting a 1,500-foot-long video tribute in downtown Las Vegas.
The Fremont Street Experience said Friday it would add a tribute to the 89-year-old King to its lengthy video-screen canopy above the casino-filled street of the same name.
The tribute is expected to follow the regularly scheduled video shows displayed every hour on the hour between 8 p.m. and midnight for one night only on Friday.
King died late Thursday in his Las Vegas home.
Fremont Street's canopy has paid tribute to Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, world leader Nelson Mandela, comedian Joan Rivers, host Dick Clark and most recently former UNLV basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian, among others.
