BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho's largest brewery is expanding with a $4.5 million brewery and office complex in downtown Boise. The Idaho Statesman reports that the Garden City-based Payette Brewing Co. will open a flagship location and main offices downtown in the former home of Bronco Elite Athletics. Boise City Council approved Payette's 32,000-square-foot building Tuesday.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The public will get to weigh in on the Idaho Legislature's rejection of child support rules over concerns it would subject the state to international laws. Legislative committees will hold hearings next week before a special session to reconsider the bill which would bring $46 million in federal funds to the state.

CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — Caldwell police have arrested a 32-year-old woman who was recently released from prison after serving12 years of a life sentence. Sara Pearce faces drug charges and was being held on a $10,000 bond. Pearce's sentence was reduced to time served. She maintains she didn't take part in a kidnapping and stabbing of a Washington State woman that resulted in her 2003 conviction.

CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — A judge has given a life sentenced to a 50-year-old Parma man convicted of sexually assaulting a girl over eight years, starting when she was six. The judge said Christopher Clendenon must serve at least seven years before he may apply for parole.
