(KSL News) The annual Summer Business Food Drive kicked off this week, and donating has never been easier, thanks to a new virtual twist.
The Utah Food Bank rolled out a brand new feature on its Web site today. It's a virtual food drive tool that allows individuals and businesses to purchase food items and donate money online.
All it takes is a visit to www.utahfoodbank.org
Organizers hope the ease and convenience of the tool will encourage more people to donate.
The Summer Business Food Drive runs through the end of August, and sponsors hope to collect 285,000 pounds of food for families in need.
