ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan announced Monday that cornerback Wayne Lyons is joining the team as a graduate transfer from Stanford.
Lyons will be eligible to play this season. He is expected to graduate Stanford in June with a degree in architectural design.
Lyons appeared in 43 games for the Cardinal, posting 128 tackles, three interceptions and three forced fumbles. He will enroll in Michigan's school of social work and pursue a master's degree in community organization.
