NEW YORK (AP) — The town house where Eleanor Roosevelt once had an apartment is on the market for $18 million.
The Wall Street Journal (http://on.wsj.com/1PcwQo0 ) says the East 62nd Street building is now a single-family home.
It has four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half baths. There's also a rear garden with a fountain.
Roosevelt, who had a home in Hyde Park, N.Y., used the apartment between 1953 and 1958.
The building is now owned an investor who purchased it in 2011 for about $9 million. He spent about $2 million renovating it.
