(KSL News) -- A practical joke left a Bountiful fountain foaming and police fuming.
Overnight, someone put soap suds in the city's Post Office fountain. Police say it's a common prank that's losing its humor and can have consequences.
In May, the same thing happened at a Sandy apartment complex. The bubbles caught the attention of a two-year old boy who fell in and drowned.
Police say recently an 18-year old, overcome by guilt, confessed. The District Attorney did not file charges, because the teen meant no harm.
