SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt (AP) — The end of an Arab summit in Egypt has produced a warning to Shiite rebels in Yemen: The Saudi-led airstrikes will continue until the rebels leave and lay down their arms. And Egypt's president says Arab leaders have also agreed to the principle of creating a joint Arab military force in the face of the "challenges" facing the region.

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — There's word from Switzerland that Iran and world powers are moving closer on a nuclear deal, though differences remain. Western leaders say that while Iran may accept new constraints to its uranium enrichment program, Tehran is pushing back on how long it must accept limits on technology. Tuesday is the target date for a preliminary agreement.

TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) — Tunisia ramped up security today as tens of thousands of citizens from across the political spectrum marched through the capital in a protest against extremist violence. The march is a response to the deadly museum attack March 18 that killed 22 people, mostly foreigners. Hours ahead of the rally, security forces killed nine terrorist suspects in raids around the country.

NEW YORK (AP) — Utility company Consolidated Edison says there were signs of potential trouble seven months before an apparent gas explosion leveled three apartment buildings in Manhattan's East Village. Con Ed says utility workers discovered that the gas line to a restaurant in one of buildings was illegally tapped, and there were gas leaks. The restaurant the only customer in the building authorized to receive gas. The building owner made repairs.

RED LODGE, Mont. (AP) — Officials say there's still no containment on a wind-driven Montana wildfire near a ski lodge that's grown to 700 acres with dozens of firefighters battled the blaze. The unseasonable blaze a few miles west of the community of Red Lodge prompted an evacuation of the ski area but it was later canceled.
