(KSL News) It was a busy Memorial Day weekend, not only for the millions of people who were traveling, but also for the Utah Highway Patrol.

They were out en force, monitoring traffic, cleaning up accidents and looking for drunk drivers.

The holiday patrol kicked off Friday night at UHP headquarters when the Utah Auto Dealer's Association presented troopers with $5,000 to help pay for extra shifts needed during the weekend.

Joining us on Talking Point was Sgt. Blaine Robbins from the Utah Highway Patrol.
