ATLANTA (AP) — Emory University has announced the appointment of a new president and CEO of Emory Healthcare.
University President James Wagner said Michael J. Mandl, who has been executive vice president for business and administration at the school since 2003, will fill the role. Mandl has also served on the board of directors of Emory Healthcare and was appointed chair in September.
Emory Healthcare includes Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital and several other facilities.
Mandl is also a member of the Board of the Emory Saint Joseph's Joint Operating Company.
