OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to murder and conspiracy in the deaths of six people including a prostitute who featured on an HBO reality show.
Court records show Johnathan Allen Cochran was sentenced after pleading guilty Feb. 27 as part of a plea deal in which he will testify against others charged in the case.
Killed in the 2009 attack were Brooke Phillips, Jennifer Ermey, Millie Barrera and Casey Mark Barrientos. Both Phillips and Barrera were pregnant, leading to the additional murder charges.
Phillips had appeared on the HBO reality show "Cathouse" about a legal brothel in Nevada.
District Attorney David Prater told The Oklahoman (http://bit.ly/1wWeCEo ) that families of the victims agreed to the plea deal to secure Cochran's testimony.
