(KSL News) -- Stormy conditions last night caused a serious wreck on I-80.
A car was westbound when it lost control in the rain and hit a wall. The car spun around and was broadsided by a semi.
UHP shut down the road, not only because of the wreck, but because the semi was leaking battery acid.
With the holiday traffic there was quite a backup.
Two people in the car and the semi driver were taken to hospitals.
