WASHINGTON (AP) — National Security Adviser Susan Rice has told a pro-Israel lobby group meeting in Washington that any international agreement with Iran would cut off "every single pathway" to producing a nuclear weapon. Her speech is meant to refute claims expected tomorrow by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who will speak to Congress. U.S. officials have reported progress toward a deal that would freeze Iran's nuclear program for at least 10 years.

BOSTON (AP) — Prosecutors in the Boston Marathon bombing trial have asked a judge to allow them to present panels of the boat in which suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-HAHR' tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) was found hiding. He allegedly scrawled what prosecutors say is a confession. The defense wants the jury to see the entire bullet-riddled and blood-stained boat.

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a man accused of plotting a suicide bomb attack at a Kansas airport was "well on his way" to becoming a violent terrorist. Former avionics technician Terry Loewen was arrested in December 2013 after authorities say he tried to bring a van filled with inert explosives onto the tarmac at Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita. He was arrested in an FBI sting.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The second American infected with the Ebola virus while working at a hospital in Liberia is returning to the West African country. A North-Carolina based charity says missionary Nancy Writebol and her husband are due to arrive in Liberia in a couple of weeks. Writebol recovered from the virus at Atlanta's Emory University Hospital.

PLACENTIA, Calif. (AP) — Students are posting online tributes to a Southern California photography teacher who committed suicide by hanging herself. Her body was found today hanging from the ceiling of a classroom at a high school in Placentia. Students at El Dorado High school had found the classroom door locked. Tributes said she inspired their interest in photography.
