JACKPOT, Nev. (AP) — An Idaho man has been arrested for destroying property at a Nevada hotel after police say he jumped over the front desk and sprayed shaving cream on a computer and video camera screens. Elko County deputies say 24-year-old Sky Poore of Twin Falls was arrested Sunday after deputies were called to the hotel on US 93 near the Nevada-Idaho line because an intoxicated man was being belligerent and vulgar with employees.
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A measure being considered by Idaho lawmakers would allow business owners to resell electricity from public utilities to electric car drivers. Idaho Power says that current state law prevents reselling electricity provided by a public utility. The utility says the bill would open the door to more charging stations and encourage more people to buy electric cars.
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A bill to block the use of eminent domain by cities to create hiking trails, bike paths and greenways has cleared the Idaho Senate. The Post Register reports that the bill now goes to a House committee and another floor vote. It would then go to Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter to be signed into law.
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Derrick Marks scored 30 points and Nick Duncan added a career-best 26 as Boise State defeated New Mexico 76-65 last night. The Broncos made a season-high 15 three-pointers as they recorded their 11th victory in the past 12 games.
