OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- An Ogden man accused of fatally shooting another man over a drug debt has admitted to the crime.
Nineteen-year-old Jose Guadalupe Diaz has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. Diaz admitted to shooting 21-year-old Cristo Rodriguez in the head last June.
In exchange for Diaz's guilty plea, a second-degree felony weapons possession count was dismissed.
His sentencing is set for August ninth. He faces up to life in prison.
