DOVER, Del. (AP) — Amere May scored 24 points, Tyshawn Bell added 23 points with 12 rebounds and Delaware State topped Florida A&M 90-74 on Monday.

The loss extended Florida A&M's winless season (0-23, 0-10 Mid-Eastern) with six games to go. There have been just eight instances of winless seasons in Division I, the most recent occurrence was by Grambling State (0-27) in 2012-13.

Delaware State (11-13, 5-4) used a 10-0 run in the first half — including a pair of 3-pointers by May — to build a 12-point lead. The Hornets led 41-32 at the break.

The Rattlers cut the deficit to six on Jorge Rosa's 3-pointer with 16:16 left, but Delaware State responded with a 7-0 spurt that put the lead back to 13 with 10:58 left.

The lead eclipsed 20 on Bell's 3-pointer with 6:31 to go.

Jermaine Ruttley paced Florida A&M with a career-high 30 points. Rosa finished with 16 points.
