WEST JORDAN, Utah (AP) -- Business software maker Oracle Corp. plans to bring a data-storage center and 100 jobs to Utah.
Oracle President Safra Catz said the company will break ground during summer in West Jordan.
Utah officials lured the Redwood City, Calif.-based software giant with an offer of more than $15 million in tax incentives.
An analysis by Gov. Jon Huntsman's economic developers said Oracle would pay salaries averaging $64,000, for a total payroll of $7.3 million a year.
Oracle says the data center will open by early 2010 for its global information technology operations.
Huntsman said Oracle was attracted by Utah's information-technology work force.
