(KSL News) -- The Salt Lake County Council is calling on Governor Huntsman to call a special session to discuss transportation issues in the valley.
Council members want to put a measure on the November ballot in four counties to raise sales tax in ordere to pay for mass transit improvements.
The legislature must approve the plan. State Senate leaders previously rejected a similar special session request from business leaders.
