TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Ricky Johnson tied his career high of 25 points and Bethune-Cookman beat Florida A&M 61-44 on Saturday as the Rattlers remained winless with their 21st loss.
Johnson had 10 points by halftime as the Wildcats (7-15, 3-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic) took a 26-16 lead. Johnson reached the 20-point mark for the third time in four games. Quintin Brewer added 12 points, eight rebounds and five blocks.
The seven wins match the Wildcats' total from all of last season. The rival schools met for the 160th time with the 44 points scored by the Rattlers their lowest total against Bethune-Cookman since Jan. 31, 1949, when the Wildcats recorded their first victory over Florida A&M 37-32.

Florida A&M (0-21, 0-8) is one of two Division I teams without a victory this season. Central Arkansas (0-18) is the other.
