(KSL News) -- Nevada is in a state of emergency. Wildfires have burned through more than 100 thousand acres.
Hundreds have been evacuated in the Northern part of the state. Around Carson City, 300 homes and businesses are in danger.
The biggest fire is near Elko.
More than 1,000 people are battling the blazes. So far, they haven't made much progress.
Right now, 32 major fires are burning in the western United States. A total of 3.3 million acres have burned.
