A man was stabbed in the chest around 5:00 this morning at 3500 South Bangerter Highway. He says someone tried to carjack him.

Stabbing Victim Drives Himself to Hospital

Even though the victim's wound is significant, he drove himself to Pioneer Valley Hospital. He's expected to recover.

Because the victim left the scene before police arrived, they'll have a tough time investigating. But the victim has been able to talk with authorities and at least give them some place to start.
