(KSL News) An Eagle Mountain man arrested after a standoff with police in January will stand trial.

Thirty-four-year-old Matthew Paul Graham faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, making terroristic threats and domestic violence in the presence of a child.

Police say Graham held his wife and children inside their home at gunpoint, and then barricaded himself inside threatening to commit suicide.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports Graham's wife testified at his preliminary hearing yesterday that her husband just "snapped" and that he had been acting differently since returning from Iraq four years ago.

Graham will be arraigned on the charges against him next week.
