LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Parents rejected a dress code for a Cache County middle school. The rules would have banned baggy pants.

South Cache Principal Teri Cutler announced the vote over a public address system Monday.

It was 412 to 216 against a dress code to ban jeans and baggy clothes.

The rules would have required collared shirts in approved colors.

Cutler said the code failed with parents despite having the support of the PTA and a community council.
