DETROIT (AP) — Obi Emegano scored four of his career-high 31 points in overtime as Oral Roberts was a perfect 8 of 8 from the line in OT to fend off Detroit 77-73 and win its first road game of the season Tuesday night.

Korey Billbury added a clutch 3-pointer to give the Golden Eagles (6-7) the lead for keeps in OT, finishing with 22 points. Bobby Word scored 11, including 6 of 6 at the line where ORU went 33 of 40.

Detroit (6-8) trailed by 10 with seven minutes left in regulation when a Juwan Howard, Jr. 3-pointer started the comeback.

ORU made 9 of 10 free throws in the final minute of regulation but Howard (22 points) and Chris Jenkins (13) drained back-to-back 3-pointers as the Titans scored a field goal on every possession in the last 48 seconds to force overtime at 64-64.

The Titans missed twice in the last two seconds of OT.
