CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Corban Collins and Marquel Willis both scored 15 points to lead Morehead State in a 95-60 rout of winless Central Arkansas Monday night.
The Eagles romped through the first half, building a 20-point halftime lead, 48-28. Billy Reader scored all 11 of his points in the first half on five layups and a free throw to spark the run.
Morehead State (5-10) shot 59.3 percent from the floor, knocking down 35 of 59 attempts from the field and 9 of 15 from distance. Angelo Warner finished with 13 points and Brent Arrington added 10 on 6-of-8 shooting from the free throw line.
The Eagles dominated the game on the boards, outrebounding the Bears 39-22 while forcing 22 turnovers.
Thatch Unruh finished with 16 points and dished off five assists to lead Central Arkansas, which has lost 11 straight to open the season. Mike Martin added 11 points.
