ELON, N.C. (AP) — Kevin Blake scored 20 points and Elijah Bryant added 13 as Elon held on for a 69-64 victory on Sunday despite 30 points from Marist's Chavaughn Lewis.

Elon (8-5) has held opponents to 27 percent 3-point shooting this season, but Marist (1-11) hit 10 of 28 from deep with Phillip Lawrence hitting four, Manny Thomas three and Lewis adding a pair. Lewis, who matched his career high for points, scored 16 after halftime and had several key assists as the Red Foxes tried to close a 34-18 halftime gap.

Marist came within nine in the final six minutes but never really threatened despite scoring seven points in the last 28 seconds.

Blake was a crisp 7 of 10 from the field and 4 of 6 at the foul line to score his 20. The Phoenix outrebounded Marist 40-30.
