SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah residents out celebrating New Year's Eve will be able to take advantage of expanded light rail and train service.
The Utah Transit Authority plans to run late TRAX and FrontRunner trains until about 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, depending on the route.
TRAX will run every 15 minutes.
The Deseret News reports (http://bit.ly/16TEchh ) UTA also plans to run FrontRunner trains from Salt Lake City to Ogden and Provo until about 1:30 a.m.
All UTA buses will run on their normal weekday schedule.
