KEARNS — A woman was located and arrested Thursday after police identified her from surveillance photos in a credit union robbery.
Unified police located Elicia Schow near 3100 S. Redwood Road in West Valley on Christmas Eve. Schow was identified from surveillance photos and was arrested without incident, according to Unified police Lt. Justin Hoyal.
The robbery occurred Monday around 4:15 p.m. at the America First Credit Union at 4874 W. 6200 South in Kearns, police said. Schow and a man entered the credit union and presented a note to the teller, demanding money, Hoyal said. They left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police have not yet been able to identify or locate the man. He was described as being in his late 20s or early 30s with a dark complexion and thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie sweatshirt and baseball hat at the time of the robbery. Hoyal said the man should be considered dangerous.
Schow was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail in connection with charges of robbery.
Anyone who recognizes the man in the surveillance photos can contact the Unified Police Department at 385-468-9814.
