WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — West Valley City police are looking for an armed robber who held up a convenience store.

Police say the masked man brandished a handgun when he demanded cash and cigarettes at a 7-Eleven on South Redwood Road about 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police Lt. Dallan Taylor told KSL-TV (http://tinyurl.com/oscgyd8) the man on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Taylor says the same store was robbed a few weeks ago, but they don't know if it was the same man.

He's described as 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, weighing between 140 and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, a gray hoodie with the hood over a black ball cap, and a black bandanna across his face.

Anyone with information should to contact West Valley police at 801-840-4000.
