SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Damian Lillard had a career-high 43 points, including 16 after regulation, and the Portland Trail Blazers handed the San Antonio Spurs their second straight defeat in triple overtime, 129-119. LaMarcus Aldridge had 32 points and 16 rebounds for the Blazers, who have won four straight and are 21-6 in the young NBA season.

BOSTON (AP) — Kelly Olynyk (OHL'-nihk) scored 21 points and the Boston Celtics began the post-Rajon Rondo (RAH'-zhahn RAHN'-doh) era with a 114-98 win over Minnesota. One day after trading their star point guard to the Dallas Mavericks, the Celtics had six players score in double figures in their third straight victory.

UNDATED (AP) — There was a flurry of trading activity in Major League Baseball with the Phillies and Dodgers completing the trade that sends All-Star shortstop Jimmy Rollins to Los Angeles for pitchers Zach Eflin and Tom Windle. In another move, American League champion Kansas City has signed veteran outfielder Alex Rios (REE'-ohs) to an $11 million, one-year deal that includes a mutual option for the 2016 season.

NEW YORK (AP) — The L.A. Dodgers have ended the New York Yankees' 15-year streak as Major League Baseball's biggest spenders. The Dodgers finished with a record payroll of $257.3 million, according to final calculations made by Major League Baseball and obtained by The Associated Press, and will pay a baseball-high $26.6 million in luxury tax next year.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Austin Dodge led Southern Oregon to its first NAIA football championship, throwing for 429 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-31 victory over Marian College. Dodge, the NAIA Player of the Year, was 21 of 39 for the 13-2 Raiders.
